Reminding me of a perfectly made hotel bed, a site in the French countryside, a companion to hours of my contemplation on the state of the world. My world.

And a warm memory of those with whom I shared these sites with. Whose hearts reach the far ends of these vast fields even as far as northern France and presumably even much much further.

They are larger than life and will transcend time. They'll stay with us forever and go on long after we're gone. And in a thousand years (as a Slovenian song goes) the sun will be their heart, shining down on the landscapes of eternity, like their real hearts are shining down on our mindscapes of today.
