There's a vocabulary error there in your statement.
Rather than use the word 'opinion' it should be replaced with 'Thanks for your advice'
The word 'opinion' should be use when one giving an idea or a judgement and I'm quite certain I'm not trying to act like it either. XD Just take it as a critique or advice of some sort.
