Hoooooly shit. My first commission EVER for Bornwild, one of my up and coming characters. I told to go wild and she did. She brought this character to life.My heeeeeart beats drums for you.

I finally worked out who Bornwild reminds me of (go me), Nidalee from League of Legends, not saying Bornwild isnt all kinds of awesomeness, just came to me is all

Semi-new, I guess. Bornwild has gone through several reincarnations over the past several years. First, she was as you see her now, both in CoX and CO. Then Bornwild kinda merged with Spirit Animal at one point (who you'll see in my gallery). Now finally, it's just Bornwild's self again. XD

I saw that. Same goes for my character, MoonHawk. I have done through several revamps/retooling of his attire and origin. I really like this character and would love to do a team-up commission sometime with her. I think she would get along well with MoonHawk. Also, are you still part of the Peacekeepers? I have not seen you on the website in a long time.

That'd be awesome! And yeah, her name has been recycled through several reincarnations and she was even known as Spirit Animal at one point with the ability to shapeshift into several different animals rather than just the one.
I visit the website a lot more recently, even though I'm not active in DUO.

That's pretty neat. I really like the design and look forward to when you release a biography on her. The whole animal shapeshift ability reminds me of Vixen (DC Comics), which is one of my favorite characters in the DCU.
The same goes for me as well. I just finished summer courses, so I am free to explore and explain my character into the PKUniverse.

Bornwild is a slightly feral woman from another dimension, based around the game City of Heroes. Her 'people', or 'breed' are of the big cat varieties. Every tribe has a different breed; leopards, lions, jaguars, tigers, etc. Her ears are slightly elongated and pointed, her canines are sharper and lethal. She has retractable claws. Her senses are more acute than that of a human's and her abilities are /inhuman/ to say the least. She can fully transform but doesn't always need to.
Her people are often hunted by dimension travelers, seeking to use their unique gifts and abilities to manipulate and create. Often, they're made into slaves, killed, or forced to 'kill or be killed', becoming soldiers. When Bornwild was captured, she managed to escape and now hunts these organizations.
So rather it being about "girl gets lost in jungle and forced to survive", it's the opposite. You just can't bring wild animals into the city and let them loose.

You know, it's definitely something to pop your head in and check out. I am actually in the works of trying to push a tribal pack onto them. We really need more tribal friendly stuff. I'd kill for some headdresses or antlers. XD
