I've been neglecting my OTP for too long and I blame it all on Draco. I can't, for my life, figure out how his hair should look and I'm never satisfied when I draw him.
But I listened to Loreen's song "My heart is refusing me" and I couldn't help but draw this piece. Dramione's always going to be my OTP no matter what
As I listened to the lyrics I thought of a short story where Hermione wants to leave, but is always drawn back by Draco since she's hopelessly in love with him. Listen to the song, it's great. I've listened to it so many times that I'm getting pretty sick of it. I hate it when I do that -_-'

I really love your style. I love how you draw your own version of Draco and Hermione, of your imagination, rather than drawing the actors (Tom and Emma). Very original. I've already said this, but I love your characterization and interpretation of Draco. He has that arrogant and elegant air that very very few know how to draw it.

You can't imagine how happy it makes me that you think so! Draco is the hardest character for me to draw actually, simply because of the fact that I have to use my whole imagination when I draw him. Even if I wanted to draw him like Tom Felton, it's too hard and the result wouldn't be good at all.
It's much easier to draw something when you know what it looks like, but to start from scratch is really difficult. When I read the books, unlike one of my friends who see the characters clearly as they imagine them, I just see a blur with some focus on some specific parts which makes it even harder to draw them. And Draco, especially his hair, is a real challenge for me. I just don't know how to get it right!

I understand about the blur thing, it happens to me too when I read something or try to paint something.
But wow...just look at him again, really, Draco looks so great with that hair style you draw, it totally suits him.
Definitely, if your Draco were real, I would prefer him a lot way more than Tom Felton, and I'm not kidding.
I've like Draco Malfoy, the character, since I've 9years (before the movies were done) -now I'm 19years, almost 20- and you can imagine how many Draco's drawings, I've seen, TONS. But I'm very exigent on how Draco looks like (in my imagination) I always search for that halo of arrogance, attitude, self-confidence, a touch of elegance and presence... Just very few really get to me.
And one of them is your Draco.
Your Draco is perfect. P-E-R-F-E-C-T. And that glorius smirk. I mean, look at those eyebrows! *_*

Draco's smirk is his trademark so I'm really glad you think I succeed in drawing it ^^ And I know what you mean by searching for that halo of arrogance, attitude, self-confidence, a touch of elegance and presence. To give Draco all that, is the goal whenever I draw him. My drawings are very simple, since I focus on emotion rather than details in clothes and shadows etc. and sometimes it's a success like this piece and other times it's... not

Thanks ^^ Do you mean which one I prefer? If so, I have to say Dramione since it was my first pairing and (with the risk of sounding too dramatic or pathetic even,) it sort of changed my world perspective

I'm a bit ashamed to say that I didn't read the books until after the fourth movie and I'm not really sure when I started liking Dramione, but I think it was thanks to some amazing fanfiction that I started to love it
