Here is the finalized character design for Iris, a key player in Music of Ages, a graphic novel about the power of music on the mind and soul, and a world in turmoil when its influence is used to manipulate and control.

This is mainly for my own reference when I start illustrating the story, but here you can find the first tidbits about Iris and her personality.
I am so excited that this project, after many years, is starting to take shape!
I'm buckling down and working on all the character development, and while I have lots of little sketches and doodles, this was something I felt I could share. Iris has always been tricky, keeping her feminine, but able to fit in with the guys she fights alongside. She's gone through the most revisions of any character in the story thus far, but I'm finally pretty pleased with her design.
