Ed and Al's mom sat at my side as she read the old fairy tale out, from the old book on her lap. I watched with wide eyes at all the pictures of the princess, the prince, the dresses, the slippery frogs, the castles. I was currently wearing a tiara to go with the theme. So far in my few years of life, The Frog Prince had always been one of my favorite stories.

Ms. Elric was babysitting me for the day while my mother, her friend, was working. At the moment she read me the story while we sat on the sofa, Ed and Al playing on the floor in front of us. I payed them so little attention as I listened intently and focused on the pictures.

After sometime the blond boys on the floor got curious as to what their mother was reading to me and why I would giggle and squirm with excitement. Ed got on the sofa next to me as Al did the same to his mother's side. And just as they got there my favorite part was coming up, the part after the frog pleads the princess to kiss him.

I held onto Ed's small arm as I got more and more happier at what was coming up, Ed looked at me and saw how I was smiling. My eyes shining I whispered "Here comes my favorite part!"

His gold eye proceeded to move from my face and to the book.

"And she stooped down..." Ms. Elric's voice recited as I leaned forward a bit, Ed's brows furrowing.

"Picked up the slippery creature..." yet again I leaned in an inch my a grin beginning to form, Ed's forehead only creasing more his nose scrunching in disgust.

"Leaned forward..." My smile grew more, Ed's mouth forming a frown.

"Raised him to her lips..." My mouth stretched happily as I began to nod, Ed's face of discomfort continued as he shook his head form side to side.

"And kissed the little frog." The boys' mother voice rang.

"Awwww!" I claimed as my grip on Ed's forearm loosened.

"Ewww." Ed's boyish voice contrasted.

"Than the frog was formed into a handsome prince. They were married and lived happily ever after. The end." Ms. Elric's concluded, closing the book.

"YAY!" I cheered.

"Thats gross, why would anyone want to kiss a frog!" Ed exclaimed, Alphonse only laughing, as well as their mother as she got up and went to the knocking front door leaving us all on the sofa.

"I would do it! I would kiss a frog! I would kiss a hundred frogs if I'd marry a prince and be a princess!" I said dreamily, Ed looking at me ears keenly listening, Alphonse smiling at my dream.

I had always been kind of little girl that wanted to be a princess.

"(y/n), your mother is here to pick you up!" I heard Ms.Elric say from the front door.

"Bye guys!" I said as I jumped off the sofa, fixing my tiara and running to the door.

*3rd POV*

Ed and Alphonse stayed on the sofa as they heard the front door close.

"Hey Al," Ed said.

"Yeah brother?" Alphonse answered.

"Do you think Alchemy can turn me into a frog?"

"Oh brother."
