Description
A few days ago I finished Baltra's OC "Kemutora"And here's the making of.
The clay I used here was an air drying elastic clay.
Elastic means it was a bit harder to sculpt with it cause of the rubber basic.
Also I used acrylic paint here.
For questions just ask me ;D

I use a clay that dries on air. But it's delicate, not as sturdy as sculpey.

Question: What happens if part of the sculpture breaks off after painting it?

I've used some two-part epoxy. It seems to hold perfectly now.

I've got a few questions, what kinda clay do you use? Do you but your clay in the oven? And what kinda paint do you use?

Dayu In reply to jennykiba [2008-12-26 13:50:44 +0000 UTC]
uhm... I use a air-drying type of clay. I don't have an oven for clay, too bad =/
Acrylic paint I use for my sculptures.

What kind of clay did you use.. and how do you fix the cracks if its dry? Also on the 2nd last picture of the dog. Is that a brush or pen?

Dayu In reply to NekoParadise [2008-10-26 12:40:08 +0000 UTC]
well that clay is not that special. Once it's dry I can add fresh clay everytime I want. So I fix the cracks even if the clay is dry.
I bought it in a craft store.
that thing there is a pen, right.
