Here are some refined ideas for the benefactor of Kreia this creature is a class-4 demonic entity and a member of the Dark Circle, a secretive group of class 4-5 Demons who have formed an alliance to further their own power and to avoid being devoured by more powerful entities.
Sion (name to possibly change) is a demon of keen intellect and a commander of powerful demonic energies. Technically she is a type of demonic scientist constantly warping and distorting souls in her bizarre experiments to further the Dark Circle's mysterious intentions.
Kreia her latest experiment was created to further the Dark Circles operations in the mortal world. Demons in my fictional universe loose a vast portion of their power upon leaving the underworld making conquest of the mortal realm virtually impossible, Kreia was created using the methods Vampiric Necromancers use to resurrect souls from the underworld. Since Vampires are created using human souls they suffer no penalties in the mortal realm (minus common vampire weaknesses) despite being creatures of the underworld. Sion has essentially created a Demon/Vampire hybrid fully capable of feeding on souls in the underworld and sustaining herself on blood in the mortal world.
