Description
AKA 'Moses in the Bullrushes'. A revised version of an earlier scene, using the marvels of dforce on the dresses to make it more as I had originally wanted it to be. I intended to have the princess in the long Egyptian dress from Daz, (rather than the skimpy and ahistorical 'samira' kit) but without the use of dforce there was no way to make it fit her convincingly in a crouching pose. Very pleased with how it has turned out now. A few other improvements have been made. Earlier version: www.deviantart.com/dazinbane/a…Scene from Exodus 2.
When she [Moses' mother] saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister [Miriam] stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies", she said. 7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”
8 “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”
(Some of the items here are my own creations using SketchUp. These include the palace, the basket, parts of the headdress including the lotus flower and headband, and the ostrich feather fan. Often I also modify the textures of purchased/downloaded items, notably on the princess' dress, in this case.)

Nice.

There was an Optitex Dynamic Egyptian* dress at Daz.
* You'd have needed the animated pose, then group girl and dress in order to move to where you actually wanted them without the dress being left behind or reverting to pre-sim state.
What baby figure did you use?

I must not have understood that at the time. I did use the animation thing to do the posed dress (for the middle one here).
The baby is Baby Genesis (though Baby Exodus would be more appropriate).

Optitex stuff is dead cheap now - I've picked up most of it, except the WTF? dynamic clothing like swimsuits or pants.
Once you get your head round it, the same process would need to apply to both dForce, Optite and probably Poser Dynamics, a moving simulation would be the only way to get cloth to look drapey on an action pose - I found i could get away without the animation bit on any of the 'thoughtful' standing poses.
Really baby Genesis? I was thinking it might be the new Sixus baby - not overly impressed by promos, only Angle Wings has a baby girl chara based on Sixus baby which looks really good (I want to know if it's worth the $29 (or amma going to get both for something not-chucky) - babies always look demonic - Luna, Milbabby, Genesis (both digitalcreations and free 2014 one)).
Did you remember to convert the skin to Iray? - looks like babyskin isn't reacting to light properly.
You could have also used a plane, added dForce elements and made a blanket as swaddling.
