Ill be the one to give you the helpful critic... you'll listen to me if you want to improve as an artist, or you can keep feeling flattered by the compliments of people that just comment for the hell of it, thats why DA sickens me... anyways, here i go. i know anime style exaggerates some proportions, but yours goes a little bit to far buddy

I think the anime style distorts more the face, but the rest normally the rest is more proportionally. American style distorts a lot more. obviously it isnt a geral rule, and deoends of the artist.

Jusr look to the size of the waist of the heros and the size of the pectoral. They have a small hip too. and it isnt as detailed. It depends of the drawer, and a cb draw should be cool and looks awesome, not realistic, so whatever...
