Noriko and the Gunbuster from Gunbuster (or Aim for the top)a very good mini series from the 1980's, if you like science fiction/ mecha/ gainax you'll probably like this show... Just keep in mind it's not really action focused, and if nudity offends you, you may find it troublesome in some places. But I would say it's definitely worth watchingΒ

I've always wondered what would be a good 80s-90s mecha anime to watch so I thank you in advance for the recommendation. Β You really do demonstrate a solid grasp on shading, forms and color. Additionally, this piece definitely captures that retro 80s anime vibe with the intensely accentuated details and highlights of the hair and clothes.
