When I was a young teenager, I used to dream about the Red Death dancing with me or bowing to him in some form of recognition... or else I would descend the stairs behind Erik, either descending at his side or just behind with at least one other. Now, roughly 12 years later, I dream of BEING the Red Death and dancing with newer POTO fans, and it's my favorite Poe story too besides.
*sigh* *still waiting for Erik to ask her to dance, despite being accustomed to dancing with, and for, herself*

The angle that you drew Christine at is wonderful. It reminds me of a young girl swept into the arms of a dashing suitor at her first ball. It's just a beautiful, romantic scene with lots of passion. Love it!

What I meant to say was... I would've been very happy too if this had happened. Besides, a confrontation while they were dancing would've been much more intense than the "room going quiet, everything focusing on them" confrontation. Christine would have had to keep up the illusion that this man was someone she didn't know, someone she was casually flirting with, and not her supposed Angel of Music.
