So? GIR is a machine. Granted, so is Gaz in a way (she is a female clone generated by Professor Membrane), but she has more HUMAN traits, whereas GIR is a malfunctioning SIR unit who is so mentally retarded that he doesn't know what he is doing half the time. Not that his defect of a master is any better, but just to please the ego of ZIM, he is far more competent than people give him credit for.

I don't think he cares, since Gaz is really the ONLY female on the show that he is compatible with (JV HATES gay pairings, has said that Tak and Zim will ALWAYS be enemies, and it is obvious that all other pairing concepts are just fan babble and therefore have NO standing, which would mean that, even in JV's eyes, ONLY ZAGR & DATR are left, especially given that Richard and Melissa like it & given the synopsis of Invader Dib).
