Gorgeous. The quality is so clear, and the way the bird is resting on the sand is beautiful but definitely does make you sad. A good photo evokes an emotion, and this definitely stirs up emotion in me.

I don't think its disrespectful to the bird, but I can see how it might be taken that way. However, this photo does not make me feel like its corpse was being slandered or making light of the birds death. If you had taken a picture of a bird half maimed with its organs streaming out and its head crushed, it would be a completely different thing. The story I get from this photo is that life is fleeting, and death is inevitable, but what we leave behind can also be beautiful.

I almost want to border line say thats kind of disrespectful taking a pic of the poor thing like that...
but that is life and death...but I give you credit though, its very good, well done
