One day a woman named Hilda came to the recycler and ordered something a little different. She had wanted to try the Chrovim option. The woman at the counter was a little surprised, but not unhappy or worrisome. She escorted Hilda to a room in the back.

This room looked very different from the others as it was adjourned with what seemed to be alien technology. There were many lights and patterns all around. The woman brought Hilda over to a person sized machine, it was cylindrical and see through. The woman instructed Hilda to simply step inside and wait for the procedure to end. Once it did, she could simply walk out.

Hilda stepped inside and the door closed. She stared at the walls, mesmerized by the display. Just then a small USB-like devise appeared and inserted itself into her back. Hilda froze, unable to move, her eyes lit up and strings of alien symbols and code were displayed through them. Her body then adjusted itself into a neutral standing pose and with a small jolt she found herself able to move again.

She looked along the wall and saw what she believed to be a progress bar. It was methodically filling to the right as she felt changes occurring. Her hair began to feel different but as she went to touch it she just felt solid pieces and the back of her hair was all just one piece...but still relatively soft. She noticed a dark material starting to cover her, she gave it a poke but it just felt like her skin. Her actual skin on the other hand, was hardening and began to section into plates.

The strange thing was these plates felt different when she touched them multiple times. When she knocked on then they felt hard like metal but when she softly caressed them they felt soft and not unlike her skin. She got a little distracted by the fact she was growing in height, when she looked down to see her feet becoming heels. She gave her leg a little lift to check them out. But just as she did the door opened, she had been converted into a Chrovim, and walked out the door.
