Looking through old sketch pads is a great trip down memory lane and provides plenty of fodder for warm up sketches...

Here is a little remake of some characters from 1993-1994. On this "comic book cover" was a team called NATURAL DISASTERS, which in retrospect is not a good name for a group of heroes... maybe it could have been a comedy? Anyway, none of the characters were named so I reinterpreted this old line up with a water elemental-type, a tornado rider, some sort of fire knight, paired "thunder" and "lightning" heroes and an earth-based character. I like the way the knight and the rose quartz guy came out (the original is floating in front of some crystal projections... get it 'rose' because he's floating... I'm a nerd).
