!!! Spoilers !!!I think I can safely say that I am biased against games that take place in a post-apocalyptic Earth where nearly all life has been destroyed. I did not know that when I started SOMA, which I had only gotten because I loved Amnesia so much. I will just go ahead and say it that, despite the grim backdrop, I thoroughly enjoyed SOMA a lot. Still, anything that deals with the end of humanity, or the destruction of Earth leaves me with a pretty bad feeling in my stomach. Throughout the story, I really thought that our main character, Simon really had somehow traveled forward in time and that at some point during the game, we were going to find a way to go back, warn the Earth and use the Omega space gun to destroy the comet and save the planet. Well, those hopes were dashed when we learned that "Simon" was actually a scan of his brain from a long time ago. So when I finished the game, I got to wondering if SOMA took place in the same universe as Amnesia or Penumbra, and maybe the Simon that got left behind on the planet after the ARK was fired into space, could be saved. That is the purpose of this picture.
