The newest addition to the "Fan of Marvel NOW" gallery....Jean Grey. Decided not to stray to far from the original outfit design, but as usual added my own little spin to it so that it could possibly fit into the MCU. The firebird was a pain, but I'm glad it turned out ok. I do have an image of the full Firebird and Jean, but compositionally it's so big that Jean is almost hidden at least her details are, so I compensated for that a little by adjusting the composition and cropping some of it.
This was a special request so it wasn't one of my random Marvel Encyclopedia (2014 ed.) choices. I will be starting that again with the next entry..."Morbius the living Vampire". Moving back to the "B", "C" and "D" list characters. I do have the DC comics Encyclopedia and eventually will start choosing two characters, one from Marvel and one from DC (for the DC fans).
As always...I do these just for fun, practice and for those who are fans of the characters like myself. Never for sale. Just honing my skills and drawing the characters I love and hate (everyone of them deserves a spot). All characters are owned by Marvel or DC. ENjoy!
