The beaten, haggard, tired, and soulless outside of her symbolizes troubles that women suffer through such as physical, mental, and sexual abuse...
The pretty, adoring, rich, and youthful inside (displayed through her hair) shows inner gorgeousness, purity of heart, and a genuine soul...

She is secretly precious.
Don't judge a book by it's cover because you never know a person's story unless you take a walk in their shoes.
