At any rate- for the most part, the shading looks good, but the red and green parts of the costume seem kind of "off" to me. The rest is nice, though- it has a very sketchy loose, look, but it works.

off in what way? it might be the opacity of the layer since i left it at 48% so you could see his bones.

I guess it just seems like the color in each is a bit too uniform? It seems like there's more shading on the cape and his skin, but looking back at it, that might actually just be a side-effect of the bones underneath it. It could also just be the opacity, though.

Cause back in the 80s people didn't like how the 'Holy guacamole' batman Grayson got replaced by a street-smarts Todd. So they offed him. Sigh...

Actually, Grayson was replaced by red-haired CircusClone!Todd; Street!Todd was a later replacement during Crisis oIE when it became clear that *nobody* liked watered-down GraysonII.
PCranky personal opinion follows; ignore at will....
I'm still furious with DC's latest take on RedHood!Jason. Yes, the dumb reality-wall-pounding excuse for bringing him back sucked, but he's the ONLY superhero character I've ever been glad they brought back to life, because he came back hurt and furious--and very close to common sense.
How many of us, reading Batman and Superman, haven't felt that their Code Against Killing was kinda artificial? I mean, Dirty Harry or Lara Croft would blow the Joker away without blinking, and we'd cheer. And as Jason pointed out, thousands of his victims would still be alive. So here's RH!Jason doing what we would, and bringing the issue to Batman directly. And Batman says, "But if I started killing, I'd never stop."
So. StreetRH!Jason is a gorgeously edgy moral issue, neh? As well as an emotional one, for Batman and Jason both.
But now this stupid pillhead caped idiot they've turned him into seems like just another shallow bit of one-note Central Casting Villainy, like one of Dick Tracy's stupidest foils. GRRRRRR! What a waste of a good individual personality, a good moral dilemma, and a good emotional storm all around. Would somebody whack Dan DiDio upside the head?
