An updated design for my previous Dexformic Gridman Spark, now named Armed Gridman Spark. He's basically a Gaogaigar reference here since its toys, along with Gridman's, were both made by Takara lol XD

Long before Planet Fusion launched a full-scale invasion against Earth, a single Terrafuser was sent to occupy a remote island on Earth as their first attempt at Earth invasion. Dexter's childhood friend, Douglas E. Mordecai III was one of the survivors of the Fusion Island incident. Having been exposed to lethal dose of Fusion Matter, a Hyper Agent known as Gridman Sigma saved his life and the process caused him to transform into Gridman Spark.

Months later, Planet Fusion has finally launched their invasion. Heroes and villains unite against this common threat, but they can only do so much. Having been preparing for a long time, Douglas resurfaced as Gridman Spark, offering help to those in need and become the Earth Defense Force's champion against the threat of Fusions.

Douglas successfully reconnected with his old friend Dexter, now adopting the name Dexter Utonium after Professor Utonium won his custody over his neglectful parents, leaving Dee Dee as the only blood relative whom cared for him as well as having the Powerpuff Girls; Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup as their adoptive sisters.

He was also pleasantly surprised that Dexter was the brains of the EDF, it's development facility Dexlabs, as well as the developer of the Null-Void technology. Such feat would not possible for Dexter alone to achieve. He had the support of a loving father and supportive sisters. The only thing that Douglas regretted was not being there for him when he could've needed his presence.

"But you're here now, aren't you? If anything else, I'm the one who made it difficult for anyone other than my closest family to contact me. I have my reasons, I assure you, Douglas. But know this: YOU are also an important person in my life. I've always longed for us to meet again ever since I read your message about the Fusion Island incident. You promised me to get stronger and meet me once you've accomplished what you wanted to do. And against all odds... You kept your promise. That is more than enough for me."

"Heh, appreciate that, Dex. Then I guess, I won't miss out on anything now that you've made a family for yourself. I'll keep helping you out from now on since I have a lot to catch up myself, here."

While Gridman Spark himself may be one of the EDF's heavy hitters, the Fusions would always find a way to adapt and evolve. This would prove to be a great challenge for Gridman Spark. Even with his size manipulation against Fusion Kaijus, he can only do so much on his own.

In response to this dire threat, Dexter initiated the Dex-Arms project, designed to study Gridman Spark's physiology as well as to provide the Assist Weapons for him to use, all for the sake of defeating the Fusions. The Dex-Arms consist of the Armed Striker (jet), Armed Speeder (bullet train) and Armed Panzer (armored carrier tank). Together with Gridman Spark, they can combine into Armed Gridman Spark.

Armed Gridman Spark possess an unparalleled strength that can topple Fusion Kaijus. His raw power and sheer will helped him overcome many odds against him. He is also capable of flight in this armor should he resort to aerial combat. He can generate the Spark Barrier, shoot Spark Bolts from his forehead and shoulder guards, fire the Panzer Cannons from his legs, and lastly, execute his powerful finisher Armed Grid Beam.
