The chiaroscuro is simply stunning. Could you tell me how do you make it so smooth and how long do does it all take?

it usually takes about 40 hours. I use sharp pencil to make smooth effect. Smudging is not usefull. I start with 4-8B, than use much harder pencils

Wow, Denis, its really beautiful. The play on light and shadow is mesmerizing. The drapery of the cloth is done so nicely . Amazing indeed.
It would be really nice to know what pencils, any other tools....... did you use for this one.

Pencils: Koch-i-noor. I usually start with 5B-6B, than I finalize with more harder pencils 2B, HB, 2H, 4H
