Description
A character reference for my new character, Krakatoa the Kraken - the loyal, obedient and rather large pet of Leroy "Hydrex" & Pearl Rudderbuck. This image is also animated!With fully-animated tentacles and feelers - not to mention face - Krakatoa is capable of a range of emotions despite being unable to speak words or smile (he has a beak, after all, like any cephalopod).
By nature normally calm and peaceful, and surprisingly gentle with those he recognises as friends, but as his name suggests, the Kraken can be roused to a volcanic fury as far as anyone identified as "enemy" is concerned.

Hehehe and the dartboard is the nearby town. Hit the clocktower for a bulls-eye. Haha nah i bet he would have enough conscience to not do that. Is he intelligent?

Heh, not to worry. The only thing he'd be likely to aim at would be something like Eggman's Egg Carrier - if he aimed to shoot it down...
Hydrex & Pearl trained him to recognise friend from foe, and he's pretty intelligent.
Still, he's a free spirit too. He is prone to being a little mischievous, though never to any destructive level... more like the occassional little prank. Like coming up behind someone and flicking them across the shore.

I like how you did this animation very smoothly. I like his thinking expression at the bottom right of this animation. I don't know what to give critique on because if his body alone is 50 ft, then that's a huge cuttlefish!
He looks like he doesn't mind people riding on him. The only thing I need to worry are the tentacles, which always sticks on anything.

Yeah, he'd probably enjoy giving the odd ride now and then. And it's OK - he's really quite gentle with those tentacles... normally!

That looks very awesome
We got Marquila and his family, which has the sky covered; and Krakatoa, which has no problem swimming obviously, so that's the water covered.
Danbuster and his friends can pretty much travel everywhere

Heh, yeah! Even the Rudderbucks agreed that he'd have had enough meat to keep them going for weeks... if they could preserve it - and if they didn't find cephalopod meat too rubbery.

Well, each image is a Movie symbol - Side, Front and the bigger picture with the face in three-quarter.
In Flash, if you put something on the stage as a Movie symbol, it plays its animation loop automatically, independant of everything else.

Yeah, I wanted to make him pretty lifelike. Of course, a sea-creature isn't likely to be completely still... even when relaxed, he'll make a few automatic movements to keep floating!

This is a really funky Kraken, I like the body & the eyes. Also i can imagine him communicating with noises like Skippy, or Flipper.
