A formidable hare in his middle-ages, Corwin is not a fellow to be trifled with. As a widower, he is naturally very wary of any male who looks at his daughter in a less-than-respectable manner. After all, Arline is all he has left in this life. So when Danbuster is seen to be taking an interest in Arline, he naturally regards the March Hare with a watchful eye too...

With muscles developed from pounding dough and a stomach developed from sampling the quality goods, he is fully capable of defending the family name - and his daughter - from dishonour, even going as far as teaching her how to defend herself in a tight spot.

However, despite his gruff manner, Corwin might be best compared with a chocolate eclair - a bit crusty, but with a sweet nature.
