Description
A character base for my main villain character, Retsubnad Leadboot, shown from the front, side and back. I can later use altered elements of these pictures to create pictures and animations of him.

In the beginning was the idea, the sense of an evil presence hiding behind the reflection of my face in the mirror. This was my evil twin! Always dressed in dark green robes, wielding terrible magical powers of evil as a mirror for my comparatively good personality. And since the development of Danbuster as a character, so the evil twin developed with him.
Retsubnad is very like his brother in voice and appearance ( www.deviantart.com/deviation/4… ), but apart from that, they have very little in common! Danbuster is fun, quirky, an expert fencer and cartoonist -- Retsubnad, because of being labelled as an 'evil twin' by a superstitious doctor, has grown up very much an opposite of Danbuster with no sense of humour or imagination, resentful of the world in general and a dangerous wizard.
His biggest ambition is - you guessed it - to take over the world.
OF COURSE!!

Over the years, Retsy has become less "one-dimensional villain" to being a much more sympathetic and misunderstood character.
His motivation simply comes from a desire to be respected, after a long hard childhood of rejection. And he will suffer no rivals in this one goal - he even hates other villains, and will more readily team up with Danbuster against a common enemy than be downtrodden himself!
To be sure, Retsy isn't all bad - more of a tragic anti-hero. He feels a genuine attachment to Danbuster. Most likely, this is because Danbuster has always been a brother to him in every sense of the word, giving him all the affection he is able to afford, if when they're fighting over their difference of opinions (such as whether or not it is right to conquer the world).
