Inspired by a little scene I thought up during another RP-story with
During a Sonic Adventure DX themed adventure, our heroes are teamed up with Tails. Somehow, the young fox is the only character remaining free after Eggman captured everyone else - I don't know... maybe the fat doctor hacked the game-code? I wouldn't put it past him...

Anyway, following getting shot down by the Egg Carrier at the end of "Sky Chase Act 1", they recover one way or another and eventually return to Tails' Workshop to "rally and regroup".
Upon arrival, they come upon the curious sight of Tails, already there and fixing a meal... a rarely-seen sight, since Tails has never actually been shown at home in-game - but I imagine that, living alone, the young fox has had to learn to keep house by himself. He's smart like that.
(And after all, he did make Sonic that chilidog in the opening scene of Sonic Generation, so he must know how to cook, at least)
Naturally, Tails was taken by surprise by their sudden entrance to his home, not having been sure whether his newfound friends survived their crash or not. He is happy to know they're all ok, though.
