My zero fan art as requested randomly by
using my ever so developing black and white toning method and mixing it with the little digital painting skill i have
*insert bitching and moaning about how i wish i was better*
anyway, i stayed up till 4 am to get this shit done, i wasnt gona quit this job half way
even though this was a random request, ive always ben a fan of zero, and wen MVC3 came out, hell, he was practicly the only character i played, so i felt it out of fandom to do a picture that did him justice!
and yes i know i drew him without his armor
yes i know thats not his official saber
AND YES I KNOW HIS EYES ARE IN A DIFFERENT STYLE THAN WHAT I DREW
ALL OF THESE CHANGES WERE INTENTIONAL AND ON PURPOSE, SO PLEASE ZERO FANS, DONT TRY AND LYNCH ME OVER THESE FACTS!

This is the first time I ever done a critique for this but hey, I'll take a crack at it.
Vision: The picture is amazing. A helmetless version of one of CAPCOM's characters, Zero. It shows Zero with his Z-Saber in hand ready to go at it and slash anything that gets in his way. Sure, it isn't in color but who cares, it's just as great.
Originality: Everyone knows that Zero is a reploid but looking at him tells me that he's human. The muscles on his chest tell me so which is pretty unique. I always wonder that without his armor, he would look different. This shows it.
Technique: I know how you draw and though this is my opinion, you drew it like it came out of a japanese anime or manga. I like the effect you used on his sword giving off a flair that really feels like it's Zero. The hair also gets some props because though it's in black and white, you brought out a sheen that makes me imagine that it's in color. Excellent.
Impact: The look on his face tells you that he's ready to take down an army. With the only weapon he's got, he'll do whatever it takes. I can tell so many good things about it but the reception you got from it speaks for itself. This is an awesome pic and I love it a lot. I hope you do more artwork as awesome as this in the future.

holy crap that was creepy ... I forgot Zero was an actual character because for a LONG time I went by the name HunterZero instead of Hunter66 well ... not on DA
