I did a little style challenge on Cleo. I picked some of the art styles that were most influential on me (in different degrees). I think I did really well on all but the Mochamura one. It was the only one where I couldn't find an example on how they'd draw a cat, so I just had to guess. Looking at them all laid out like this, my style has warped so much that I can't see much of any of their influence.

(Also, the Kasey Golden one looks more like Gigi from Kiki's Delivery Service than the Studio Ghibli one because I used the cats from The Cat Returns as reference. It's surprising how much Gigi doesn't look like the other cats in the Ghibli style. I think because he was supposed to be more of a simple, iconic design than the other cats, who are...just cats. Within a sea of other cats.) ((Also also, I used classic Fruits basket.)

Somewhat unsurprisingly, the Naruto one is the one that looks the most like the actual cat.
