The drawing keeps a sense of reality and I like that, it adds charm and it tells a definite story. Snoopy is tired, or perhaps bored, Charlie is worried and wondering if he will make it, and then we have rain, which in my opinion symbolizes hardship.

This is really good! and even though it might not follow Peanuts exactly I would have given Charlie Brown his own personal storm cloud raining on him

In the peanuts world, whenever Charlie's team was winning the game had to be called by rain as it would storm inmediately before the game could end OwO

oh that's right! I rarely remember instances where that happened though, they were usually loosing due to his lousy pitching

his lousy pitching, Linus getting his blanket stepped on while running, or him getting tangled in the blanket after hitting the ball with the bat, and lucy's right fielding excuses, and snoopy's falling asleep during the game...
O-O most of the time the rain was actually in their favour XD (like in the games 300 to 0 in favor of the visitors XD)
