Commissioned sketch for about his OC Max praying by a shrine for a good 2019

It had become a yearly tradition for young Max to visit the shrine on his own, "yearly" meaning it was his first time, but his big brother saw no point in correcting him.

Max took a moment to prepare himself, as he mentally walked himself through the required steps of proper shrine etiquette.

First he threw a coin in, bowing twice before clapping twice, following up with a much deeper bow, and finally finishing it with his pray for a better year for his friends and family.

A grin spread across his face, filled with joy by having completed his shrine visit by himself, never aware of his protective big brother who remained just out of sight.

Se había convertido en una tradición anual para el joven Max visitar el santuario por su cuenta, "anualmente", significa que era su primera vez, pero su hermano mayor no veía sentido corregirlo.

Max se tomó un momento para prepararse mentalmente recordando los pasos requeridos de la etiqueta apropiada del santuario.

Primero, lanzó una moneda, se inclinó dos veces antes de aplaudir dos veces, siguió con una reverencia mucho más profunda y, finalmente, terminó con su oración por un año mejor para su familia y amigos.

Una sonrisa se dibujó en su rostro, llena de alegría por haber completado su visita al santuario, sin darse cuenta de que su protectivo hermano mayor permaneció fuera de la vista.
