I still get chills when I think of images that appeared in my head from when I was young and had fever dreams.
One was a fleet of black ships crossing a river where I was on both sides.
The other were two men riding bicycles down a road that never ended.
The trouble about being a writer is that you subconciously write your own nightmares.
