Description The second installment of the book. This time shoming the contents. The paper format is A5 (half the standard european paper-size in notebooks and stuff). The outside is made from thick cow leather, the paper-protection from thinner sheep leather. The front-side is attached with chain, the backside is sewn.

The book starts of with a few withered scroll-parts from earlier events, and afterwards i've started to write a scholar's account on magic in LARP in general. I can take out pages and add more if i want because of the filebinder design i used for this book.

A picture of the outside (unfinished) can be found here:

UPDATE:
- Lately I've removed the bookmark as it was and replaced it with two bookmarks in my own characteristic style for belts and such (the one with a diagonal cut at the end)
- The outside now has a buckle to keep it closed as well

Interesting work, a neat mix of runes and alchemical symbols. I am going to try and duplicate this using my computer program. some of your stuff is a bit light and faded so I doubt I can be 100% accurate, But I like the design and will refer to your stuff when I post my version.

Lessee,

The circle was designed by me with no specific goal in mind. The arabic and latin scriptures are both translated bible-verses, although I have forgotten which ones.

Hope that answers your question

awesome love it........sometimes i wish i was a magic user/alchemist so i could use something like this, but i always gravitate towards a scout or rogue

Raseph, the book's user, is no full mage either, He's a battlemage in which the "battle" mainly consists of guerilla tactics and mercenary work. You don't need to be a mage to use this, you just need to have a good backstory or be a scholar along with your normal profession

cool im still trying to figure out my character-i dont start LARP till the spring. im not sure if a rouge or scout can use magic or not....but my character does practice shamanism, so maybe i could use something like this

It depends on the rule-set you play with whether you can be both a spellcaster and other class, but even as a shaman books like these are just plain awesome, as prop in a ritual or just as a plot-item

I would buy that from you, if you're selling or willing to make a replica.

I could always make another one, no problem. Only issues to be resolved would be shipment and payment, as of now I'm not yet big on international shipping, but if we could work that out, sure, why not.

Take in consideration however that being a student and all I'm not able to have it ready in short time, so it could take a while.

Exellent, I could resolve the issue on payment and shipping, but as of now I'm sort of...short on payment. However, If you are willing to wait until then, we could continue to discuss detains on customization if you provide that sort of service, or do you just make one kind?

I'm open to any suggestions. The leather I have in stock is what I have, but the way it's made and the details are usually no problem to discuss.

And considering payment, take your time, I haven't got the time to start working on it for the next several weeks (if not next two/three months) anyways due to studies and the like

exxelent, the only costumization i really want if to make is hexes and curses and such, instead of battle tomes. And some king of desinhgn on the fron, if you can. Nothing to intracate or anything, just simple and dark looking. Also, I'll need your E-mail for futher communication)

It has been updated since with a small steel buckle, but for the rest it has stayed the same.

very interesting I like the simplicity of it. the fact that you can add and remove papers is a nice feature
your array is pretty well drawn too.
I'm currently working on a page for a "lost book of Vampiric necromancy" that has a similar feel, if not a little creepier.
nice work

Thank you very much ^__^ I love using some geometry when i'm bored. Combining that with having a greek and latin dictionary and acces to Alchemical symbols and oblivion runes makes nice ritual circles.
