Zeglings evolved from the Zz'gashi Dune Runer and later was joynd to the zerg swarm.
if zerglings are found alone they may act as scouts but usually in such cases are accompanied by Hydralisks.when they attack however, Zerglings gather in large numbers,ranging from a dozen to a hundred often acting as "meat shields"for more powerfull zerg units.in combat zerglings are fond of ripping apart enemies to shreads with ther sickles and fangs,indicating a sadistic streak( but not as sadistic and fierce as the hydralisk ).Zeglings continud to evolve after the brood wars and got the abillity to motph into the Banelings.
