Thank you very much!
Your film is quite good. The way the man is running is a bit weird, but you did a great job

Well, if you search "Cloud Strife" here, it appears on the first page of results, it would have only taken a moment to look... but anyway, thank you for giving *Negshin the credit. I'm glad this was sorted out.

Again, perhaps you could credit the original artist? Or better yet, ask them for permission before you use their images?

I took every images I use from a french render website, but I'll try to put a link from next time.
I understand your feelings, but I don't steal anything, if someone steal images, it's the person who makes the render.

It's still stealing. Just because someone stole an image and cut it out all pretty, doesn't make it theirs.
Also, deviantART itself has rules on what stock and renders you can use. Your images would classify under the 'not allowed' category since they aren't the creations of the original artists.
Thanks for at least crediting...but you should always obtain permission of the original, and credit them before using their work. It's not too hard, since I tracked down all the originals on dA in about 5 minutes.

How could I know that the person who makes the render stole it from dA ? I put the link to the render, if there is a problem, it's with this person, not with me, renders I use are not copyrighted when I take them.

BloodLyre In reply to DDabug [2010-08-14 18:16:15 +0000 UTC]
The person who makes the render takes an image that somebody ELSE made and cuts it out for use in signatures, etc. This is against deviantART policy and against copyright law. Even if you credit the site from which you got the stolen render, it's still without the original artist's permission.
They are copyrighted.
By the original artist.

I cannot know if the original image is copyrighted, the person on my website doesn't precise that.

BloodLyre In reply to DDabug [2010-08-14 18:39:00 +0000 UTC]
Most images on render websites are copyrighted. I found the original artist and images with just 1 minute of searching; it's not that hard.
Use your common sense and common courtesy, yes? Obviously those images were drawn by somebody, and unless they are in the public domain you may not use them. (Unless express permission is given by the original artist.)
Also, regardless of what country people are in, deviantART itself has sitewide rules about stock/render usage. You can get your images removed and possibly banned for stealing.

Are you daft?
I have no time for people who steal things other people worked hard to make.
See ya.
