That is an MGB, GT.
MG stands for Morris Garages. Morris was a car manufacturer in the UK for many years, and the MG name was used for the sports car ranges. The MGA was one of the first, and the next series was MGB. GT, as in any other car make is Gran Turisimo, or Grand Tourer.
There's a lot of history involved, but if you search MGB you should get all the information you want.
