Facts about beans:
Beans Beans the Musical Fruit, the More You Eat the More You Toot the More You Toot the Better You Fell so Let's Have Beans at Every Meal.
Beans were (and are today) a staple of many countries cuisines around the world. For instance, Lentils are staple of both the ancient and modern people from west Asia (e.g. Arabia, Israel, etc), and Pinto Beans staple of the American southwest regions (e.g. Texas, Arizona, etc)
Beans are affordable and versatile to use in cooking, from rice w Beans, in salads, lentil soup, aduki bean paste and even black bean brownies and as a pizza and dessert topping.
The only dry beans that do not require soaking before cooking are Lentils, as long as they're cooked well enough and long enough (though soaking them like other beans makes it easier and quicker to cook, even if soaked only for a couple of hours.) Others require soaking otherwise they'd be hard as rocks to eat.
