Not a contest, just a display in the photography section. Our local camera club (Boise Camera Club) is hired by the fair to run the photography section each year. A few years ago I showed the Fair Superintendent some of my stereo work and she asked if I would like to do a special exhibit. I have been doing them ever since. One year it was HDR images, one year it was macros, one year it was phantograms, and this year it is Mandelbulbs, all in 3D of course. Nothing big, but it does expose a lot of people to my art. Yeah. I usually take about a hundred pairs for the 10 day event. Given the amount that disappears and just get used up. I estimate several thousand people will view the display in its run. My personal website is just a place I store and share all my images, good or bad. Deviant Art is where I place the images I think are more "artistic".
