SORRY for all the PINK.. ....... had to reupload, I was having difficulties with the other piece..NOTES:
I felt very unsatisfied with the first version of this pic that I drew. I thought the background was horrible (I was so exhausted, that I rushed through my picture and didn't really care about the background..) but now, since Im wide awake, I fixed the backround (thank goodness for PSD!), and it looks awesome, and much better. The fixing took about 2 hours.. though, its supposed to be cherry trees with cherry blossoms, looking up into the sky, with the clouds. I used the smudge tool for the clouds.. , I love how the clouds came out.. Hope u like it.. took 5 hours
ANIME/GAME INFO:
Coquelicot is from the not so well known game, Sakura Wars (Taisen) 3. The game is only released in Japan. Though, Coquelicot is also in an OVA, which is only 3 episodes long. The game is titled Sakura Wars 3: Is Paris Burning? It was released back in 2001/02 for the Dreamcast, then PS2. Though, Sakura Wars the anime is quite well known here in the USA. A koubu is what Coquelicot fights in "mecha"

Really well done use of solid shading, it gives it a very professionally done feel. I love the colours also, even the use of so much pink really is nice for the eyes once and awhile.
