Woot!!! My first somewhat official drawing on my new tablet!!! XD I'm so happy right now i could cry. T^TThe original tablet that i was gonna get was a Wacom Intuos 4x5, that was like $200 + tax. Instead, i got a Wacom Bamboo Fun 8.5x5.3 (practically) for the same price. A 4x5 Wacom Bamboo Fun was about $100 + tax, so i said "heck with it, i'll get the bigger one for the same price." XD YAY!!!!!
Anyway, i was just testing out the tablet and a few techniques that i have been observing. So far, i somewhat get the jist of it. I just need more and more practice. ITS SO COOL!!!
Anyway, gonna move this to scraps later.

A tablet is like a writing tool for the computer. If you check out the Wacom website it should give you a more detailed info about it than i can. XD Or just type in Wacom Tablets into a search engine and there you have it.

Somewhat. Just getting used to moving the pen without touching the tablet is aomewhat a pain, but it gets easier. Other than that, everything else should come with time. XD

What type have you been using? I think Wacom is like the leading seller in tablets. They're really good.

Wacom Graphire or whatever. The texture of it is really really slippery and I can't get used to it x_x I figured it's probably just me since Wacom is a good brand, but I wouldn't know for certain unless I got the chance to try another type of Wacom tablet.

Yea, i think the graphire one is more slippery than the Intuos or the Bamboo Fun ones. The Graphire is what got me hooked onto using tablet. XD
