I don't know why, but this suddenly just came to mind. As weird as it is Vivian is actually in my top three of my Favorite girls in Seven Deadly Sins. Sure she's crazy but who doesn't like a little crazy? But I digress, it's the summary time!.
(Now, in the world of "The Seven Deadly Sins", this takes place right after Melodias defeats Hendrickson.)
Peace is temporarily restored to the Kingdom of Liones. Everyone is happy and celebrating the Sins' victory... all except for Vivian. As we all know the thing that Hendrickson promised her was that she would get her Happily Ever After with Gilthunder, but that never happened and the last thing she saw was him having a romantic moment with Princess Margaret in the castle Garden.

But Vivian was Determined to get her Happy Ending with the Man she loved. So much so that she would even raid her teacher Merlin's most sensitive Magical Tomes for a Solution. And after searching through quite a few of them, she had found just the right spell. It was a spell meant to travel through time, but Merlin had hidden the spell away because she deemed it too dangerous and unstable. But that wouldn't stop Vivian, after preparing the Glyph and Gathering materials in secret, the spell was ready to be cast.

Vivian began the incantation as the portal through time began to form, But something went wrong. The portal began to destabilize, she tried desperately to anchor herself to the ground but it was no use, and the last thing she could do was scream as the vortex swallowed her whole and then collapsed in on itself.

(Now in the world of Highschool DxD, this takes place after the Rating game between the Gremorys and Diodora Astaroth.)
The same vortex opens up in a park right next to a fountain and ejects Vivian. After regaining her bearings she realizes that the portal had sent her to an unknown location. Thinking fast she tried to levitate up to the portal but found that the spell had severely drained her powers. She could only look up in Horror as the vortex collapsed and vanished into thin Air. Vivian shambled over to a nearby tree and collapsed, the full weight of what just happened to fall on her. Not only had the spell failed but now she was trapped somewhere as far away from her love Gilthunder as physically possible. Vivian had hit absolute rock bottom. With no plans, her magic exhausted and frustrated beyond words all she could do was cry until finally, exhaustion took her.

Issei Hyoudou arrives via teleportation to investigate the strange fluctuation in magical energies near the park. Issei usually never goes to the park due to the memories he has of Raynare killing him. Looking around he finds the unconscious Vivian, reporting to Rias he is told to bring her back to the Hyoudou residents. Vivians is stripped of her armor and staff by Rias and Akeno and given a purple dress to wear instead, she's given one of the Mansions many extra rooms to rest in as well. Since Vivian is Unconscious Rias has Issei watch over her until they can figure out who she is.

Issei would then be orderd to look after Vivian until everything is figured out. Eventually Vivian would wake up and panic at first due to the unfamiliar surroundings. Issei would then calm her down and the two would talk each trying to get information from the other. For Vivian she had to know "Where" she was while Issei had to know "Who" she was. As the two talked Vivian told Issei who she was and how she ended up under the tree near the park, while Issei explained where she was and how diffrent the world she was in was to her own. Rias and the other eventually return and tell Issei that Azazel told them to let Vivian stay at the Hyoudou House till he can figure something else out.

Many weeks passed since Vivian arrived and so far she seemed to be intergratin g well with the House and its residents. But thats not all, as time went on Vivian slowly began to take a more keen intrest in Issei. How nice he was to her, and how often he would listen to her, but most of all how he was till willing to help her even after she told him about her past. She began to feel warm inside whenever he was around, just like how she would feel around Gilthunder. As she continued to focuse on Issei a thought crossed her mind.

"Could I be falling in love with this boy?"
