There's an inflatable pink unicorn sitting lopsided on the floor by my bed. His name is Cherry Ann and he prefers to be called Cherry Ann. He's an angry fellow, for some reason. Maybe he lost his wife or kids. Or maybe it's because his previous owners set him in a cardboard box marked up for 10 cents.
You can only imagine how bad I felt for an angry pink unicorn covered in rainbows sitting in a yardsale box. I had to have it. It turns out, it was the best purchase of my life. Cherry Ann has a rainbow horn and a rainbow mane and a rainbow tail and a rainbow heart on his butt. He was going to get Mom, but the tattoo artist talked him into a much more worthwhile pattern.
Did I mention that he squeaks? He squeaks. You'd want a fabulous unicorn such as he if you were me. Cherry Ann has had many wondrous adventures. I rode on him to other yard sales in search of a mate, but all I found was a large decorative red bow to go in his mane. He was unhappy about that, so I left it elsewhere.
Currently Cherry Ann is more popular than me with all of my friends due to his incredible social skills. I envy him.
