I just reread this piece. I really like it. Brutal but honest, the way I prefer it.

I've been on the other end a few times, y'know, aim high and miss. You capture it so well.

And those last 5 lines! Woa!

I'd be crushed if someone said that to me! So....what if this person thinks that
YOU are the "Bee's Knees"? Would you still "Feel" this way? On the other hand...
sounds like no matter who really likes who, there's no chemistry! I guess....
These well-crafted lines disturb me.....they seem all to familiar.
Classy "let-down" though!...........It still makes me sad.

You know Steve, it occurs to me that you "feel", you "feel" very deeply, My young friend!
I never have known anyone who had the ability to "Write-down" and express such utterly
deep feelings about love, life, death, happiness, sadness and anything in between, until you!
I figure that you have "spoiled-me-rotten" for anything else, as far as poetry goes!
You are just amazing!
This is NOT just "Gushing"! I really mean it! It kinda pisses me off!.......anyway,
Your challenge is to find someone that measures-up to your "awesomeness"! And that sounds hard!

Hahaha, I like your "Costume" idea! [: That's a good one!
But mine? I know what a "nun" is....But what is a "dragon nun"?
You probably think that I'm kidding! But I'm NOT! Every year on Halloween, the whole "AirPark" neighborhood,
where I live, Has this very big Halloween Dance/bash/party in one of the large hangers! It's fixed-up to
the max! With fog, eerie high-tech lighting effects, my killer 5,000 watt sound system, costume contest,
dancing contest, and lots of great food! We all swing and dance to the "The Crypt-kicker 5" and "The Mausoleum Minstrels",
"The Casket-kids Rock Coven" till sun-up! It's a really big deal for us in our "Gated Community"! Last year, I was
"Fixed-up as a really convincing "Embalmed Cadaver"....Though I hated the contacts that gave my eyes that..."Dead-Look".
I'll post a photo someone snapped of me, if I can find it! It was My best! I was even "Delivered" in a modern Hearse!
4 guys rolled my modern steel Casket in the place! Hehe...Yes I own a contemporary pink steel casket! Never used of course!
You would love it Steve! It's the only fun I have all year! Oh, I did NOT win last year! I just don't know what to "be" this time!
I wish you could attend! If you do, don't forget to bring your "death certificate", make final arrangements now! Were just dieing to have you......
