Or expression.
Poetry is...
Strife and oppression,
Suggestion and depression,
Happiness and love,
Cheap and malformed,
A constant ebb and flow,
A thousand years of history,
A million wretched people,
Crimes and romance,
Suicide and pasts,
Lives before, lives ahead,
What lies beneath our beds,
Watching the world take it's path,
Being a wallflower,
Being gold,
Being trustworthy, words untold,
Watching days roll by,
Hours lost,
Taking part,
Giving back,
Never wanting more.
