Maybe you have a god,But he's never shown himself to me.
Never answers my prayers,
And when I question life,
It's not a higher power who answers.
My friends are wiser than an ancient book
And an invisible man in the sky.
Free will is the believer's argument
To everything I say.
But why would He give us that
If He wants us to believe in him
And to never live in sin?
Why did He create me the way I am?
Now I agree with peace and love,
But He destroyed two cities
And turned the the Earth into a flood.
I don't want to believe
In someone who says,
It's okay to sell your daughter
Into slavery!
But will cast you to
The burning pits of Hell
For eating fish with shells.
Or who sent His self-proclaimed "disciples" down
To ridicule us
For being human,
And then outlaw loving unions;
Marrying your aunt is fine.
Did I mention that
If you don't want to be smited,
I wouldn't wear anything that's
90% cotton, 10% polyester.
I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't believe in God,
Only that if you do,
I'm really, very scared for you.

I agree with what "hellostrangeone" said!
I have the same problems with "IT" as you do!
Why create a powerful Angel and give it the possibility
to rebel? When their suppose to be part of the
"Machinery" of Heaven! Seems like God "screwed-up"!
If that's not bad enough! Cast it out of there to reek
havoc on us down here! One Couple Makes a mistake, and
"WE" all get punished for their screw-up? It's not fair
or logical! Ever wonder when God needs to show an example out of someone or he needs a "Killing", "He"
sends an Angel? Can you imagine a creature like that, who praises it's god with it's radiant face with one wing-tip "dipped" in a bucket of blood?
Would you really want to see such a creature like that?
Any way Steve, Don't be scared of "those" people.
Most of the time they are well-meaning and really
don't know what they've gotten themselves into!
