1. A wizard in the sky did not create me. My parents had sex.

2. I don't know how we got here or how the universe was created, and I don't think we'll ever understand. Like how fish won't ever understand advanced physics.

3. Sure, it's nice being white and American, but think of everyone out there who is starving to death; who is in a war-torn country threatened by death daily; whose families are ridden with disease and have to watch all of their loved ones die. God, you sure have a funny way of showing us you love us.

4. Holy books are written down games of telephone… .ver the course of a couple thousand years. Then someone realized, "Hey, we should write this shit down!" If you've ever played telephone, you know that you can never trust the end result.

5. I was condemned to hell since birth (by many religions).

6. Everything happens for a reason. BULLSHIT. People act on their own and their only guidance is a personal conscience.

7. The good in the world does NOT outweigh the evil. (And many religious organizations contribute to the evil-doing!)

8. I can't fathom how anything existed before the universe, let alone a being who created it. For us. Solely us. Which makes absolutely NO sense considering that the universe is infinitely large. I refuse to believe that we're the only ones out here.

9. Religions nowadays are all about money, power, and politics. They use people as mindless sheep to vote for what they want, to give them money, to raise them higher and higher. They follow a leader who tells of a god who will condemn you to hell if you are one political party or another.

10. God is a human idea. We came up with that one all on our own. The only "evidence" we have is "Jesus" who claimed to be God's only son. I think either everyone back then were either really stupid or really gullible. As I said before, telephone and tall tales exaggerate and change stories to the point of not being the same story at all. So who knows what Jesus's life was actually like?

I don't know if I am an atheist, because I can't for sure say there is no god. There may have been at some point, but he's long gone now. My beliefs lean towards the non-existing god though.

I am thankful for all that I have in life. Just not to god. Mostly to my dad. Last time god personally intervened in my life to help me… hmm…
