Very cool design; I always love heavy shadows like this. I think it would look nice with a bar across the bottom, maybe for links/copyright information..? It is really fantastic though. Plus, your stock images are pretty awesome. Just reminded me I need to get stock images for my own site...

the first thing I noticed was the 'next' and 'prev' button reflection. The buttons are too high to give a reflect on the bottom i think.

Hope this doesn't offend, but I could see this as a premium Word Press theme for a personal blog. In fact, I would buy & use it if it were offered that way. Great work!

I really don't know why the client rejected this. It makes no sense.
Really good job with the designing. For me, it seems as the perfect web design.
I love the upper bar with the menu, and the 3D divider gives the site a whole new feeling. I like it.
The transparency of the box, goes good to the background, which I like very much too. Also the text, seems for me, to work very well.
I would really like to see this one "live"...

Great design, really inspirational... I love the colours and the look to it... And I gather the top part would be a carousel script or something similar.
I still can't believe the client turned down a DD piece of work, and it's only a mock!
