Clocks dampen my creativity. Everything is exact, planned, organized. Why can’t time just flow? The world is neither black or white, nothing is so precise. Yet the clock ticks away, my life divided into equal parts.Not only do clocks drone on and on forever, chronicling and exacting every single second of my sorry life, but these seconds come with expectations. Sun comes up, wake up. Sun goes down, so do you. 3 square meals a day. Go to work, go to school, come home, eat, go to sleep (of course, the sun is down). Life is scheduled.
We are prisoners of time, are we not? Handcuffed to years, days, hours, minutes. Locked in the cell of our clocks. The only escape is death. Death=freedom.

ah nice i hadn't even thought of time in this way, once again as theklauz stated before it only bins us to our lifestyle, but that is the point you see so many people miserable with everything; bad credit, bills, consumerism, jobs, school. its all just more to the guilded cage, a prison that we created around ourselves to show a lie that we control the world around us.

i sorta agree---- but i like clocks as it is in art, but i dont really like them in real life-- i guess its because the time has stopped in the pic, but i dnt know, i just think clocks always make a good art piece!

Time is only binding to us because of our lifestyle, if we didn't require work or school we wouldn't have to go, thus we wouldn't have to go to bed at specific times because there'd be no reason to.
But I like it. I just didn't like the idea of being bound by time when it's been my ally for so long.
