This is amazing, it reminds me of Raven's "Dance Floor Lover" and the concept that I think more people than you think could relate to.

thank you! and yeah, now that you mention it, it is sort of like her poem.

I wish I could have gotten to know her, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

You know what sucks, though? I had a fresh cut flower that was just abandoned at a bus stop, so I picked it up and carried it around all day, and I wish I had given her the flower as I was getting off the subway. that would have been so cool. I would have done it if my mom and aunt weren't there...

it's eerie, isn't it...

you get used to the feeling of being, for the most part, alone in your thoughts and then you realize someone else shares them with you, and it is comforting to know you're not as weird as you feel all the time.
