I just had to keep this very minialistic! It was quite monotone to begin with, I just gave it the extra boost so it would be more so than it started. Very contrasty and she blends right into the background... perfect!

this is simply an amazing picture. the contrast is great. i really like how the model fades into the background. it adds an imaginary side to the image. excellent work!

thats interesting... shes posing like shes going for this mature sexy nude model theme, but the expression on her face makes me think innocent and shy... little girl.... id call her cute rather than beutiful - not that shes not amazing just the way it was set up-, just because of the expresson. nice contrast, makes me think... i like.

I have always been a sucker for minimalism so I like this photo alot. The high contrast almost washes her away leaving only her raven blakc hair and eyes. Love how she have her back against the negative space but turns her head looking over her shoulder. A more serious expression on her adding, in my opinion, som weight to the photo.

you do amazing studio portraits.... this contrast is especially crisp... is this right out of the camera or did you duotone it in PS or something? If you could gimme some pointers for some basic studio shots i'd appreciate it - i just got a new camera and want to try humans...

Thanks.. I do some minor PS tweaks.. mostly adjustment layer stuff like levels and color balancing and playing with the curve. Straight out of the camera looks good too, but after adjusting minor elements... comparing the before and after, the before starts to look flat.

I'll eventually want to be able to take pics like this right out of the camera... but I think every photographer (even in film) does some kind of adjustments to their pics to achieve some perfection in their work. Whether it's done on the computer or in the darkroom, it's all the same result in the end.
