More fun with water...Like I said before, you can never get bored of these!!!
I set up a glass in the sink, filled it up with water, then let the icecubes drop. I missed the cup several times hehehe, but the one that counts is this one, the one that actually hit right on! took about 10-20 tries to get a good hit, it was kind of hard holding the ice directly above the glass and trying to press the shutter simultaneously. Other than that... it was kinda fun with neat and cool results.

Wow....this is truly gorgeous. Your throwing the ice cubes really paid off. I agree with a person up there, it does look like an ad for Evian...or some kind of water brand. Did you take this in tungsten?

Thanks... I shot it in a custom white balance setting. I did, however shoot some earlier ones in tungsten, but they turned out too blue and over exposed looking..

Well what makes this stand out among all the water shots is the brilliant composition and the overall tone. Technically you've really nailed it and you've managed to create an interesting athmosphere as well. I like.

yea.. it takes a lot of patience and lots and lots of shots.. for just that 1!! hehe,
the blue was natural.. although I boosted it a bit in post... I was using a custom white balance setting to get the blue-ish hue.

Oh Wow Harry, this is by far the best I've ever seen from your work. I just love how things work out in this shot, and how the water just freeze in the air like that. This pic really has the Advertising ad feel to it.... and also I love the bluish cold feeling in this shot.. ^_^
Harry, I think you really have an eye for doing "Still photography", not that you are not good at portrait photography, but I really like what I see from your still ones.. ^^
